Sign Up/Log In: Click on "Sign Up" at the top of the screen. We only use Google authentication to ensure real, verified email profiles.
Accept Terms: First-time users must check the box agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Browse: Once logged in, you can start browsing available flats, roommates, and PG accommodations.
2. Profile & Matching Settings
Set Preferences: Go to your profile menu and click "Preferences". You can set your food habits (Veg, Non-Veg, Both), smoking/drinking tolerances, pet friendliness, sleep schedule, and cleanliness expectations.
Biometrics/Bio: Write a friendly bio explaining what you do and what kind of flatmate you want.
Compatibility Score: Our system uses these points to display a percentage match score (e.g. 95% Match) on room listings.
3. Posting a Room Listing
Click Post: On the Find Rooms page, click the "Post a Listing" button.
Specify Room Details: Enter the monthly rent, security deposit, flat configuration (apartment, flat, PG), and sharing rules (private room, shared room, vacant bed).
Amenities: Check the boxes for available amenities like Wi-Fi, AC, Parking, Washing Machine, and Power Backup.
Upload Images: Add up to 5 clear photos of the room/flat to attract maximum roommates.
4. Profile Verification
Go to Verify Profile: On your profile dashboard, click "Verify Profile".
Record Video: Enable camera access and record a 5-second selfie video showing your face clearly.
Upload ID: Upload a scanned copy of a government ID (Aadhaar, PAN, DL, or Passport). Tip: We highly recommend using a "Masked Aadhaar" where your first 8 digits are hidden/blurred.
Review Process: Support admins manually cross-check the video, photo, and ID name. If they match, a blue "Verified Member" badge is assigned to your profile.
5. Interest & Chat System
Anti-Spam Filter: To prevent harassment, you cannot message someone directly.
Send Request: Click the "Chat" button on a listing and write a polite interest message.
Accept Interest: The listing owner will get a notification. They can view your compatibility profile and click "Accept".
Chat Unlocked: Once accepted, a mutual conversation box is activated under the "Chats" tab.
6. Reporting & Safety
Report Abuse: If you spot a broker listing, fake profile, or offensive chat, click "Report Abuse" on their listing/profile.
Safe Meetings: Always meet flatmates in public places or bring a friend along when visiting properties.
No Advance Payments: Never pay rent or security deposits before visiting the property and verifying the flatmate.
